How to Get your Website Listed/Indexed in Google
This Page Applies Only to New Sites

(getting listed/indexed is not the same as ranking)

First Step:

There are two basic ways to get a new website listed/indexed in search engines:

  • The FREE Way: You follow what I have written below.
  • The PAID Way: I’ll do it for you for $50.00

Search engines are only looking for one element of criteria: that an already listed/index site is linking to the new website.

To check if you’ve been indexed: simply type: “ site:www.yourwebsite.com ” into Google. If you don’t see your website try it another way without the “www” so it would look like this: “ site:yourwebsite.com “. If you see your website appear in Google then you are already listed/indexed.

However, if you don’t see your website in Google after you do those commands you will need to get a website to link to you so Google can crawl from their website to yours. If you want me to get a website to link to you let me know and I’ll do it for $50 bucks.

Regarding long term strategies that will help you place better after a year’s time, you will need to join at least three of the following directories:

Yes, most of these directories cost money. If you are on a budget it is recommend that your site be listed in at least three of the directories mentioned above. With the exception of the Yahoo Directory price tag of $299, the rest of the Directories are mostly under a $100 dollars each with some of them priced at around $50.
After your website has existed in the search engines for at least a year, and you are interested in ranking the site, then get a hold of me and I'll move forward with that process.
